These are crafted by blending 70% Recycled Wool with 30% Mixed Recycled Fibres. Flip the blanket over and you will find a waterproof backing designed to protect your blanket from the wet and dirt.
Why recycled wool? The Tartan Blanket Co wanted to design a blanket that was truly sustainable in every possible way. As a result, they created a unique process where recycled wool is blended with longer mixed fibres saved from landfill to create a soft and durable yarn which is then woven into a dense twill weave and brushed for texture. These blankets boast all the wonderful benefits of wool all while being truly sustainable.
Finished with a brass and leather picnic strap for ease of carrying, these picnic blankets will make next adventure to the park that much more enjoyable!
