We're Harri and Dan, two sisters behind Merino & Me.
Dan is mum to three young kids who are always on the move — playgrounds, park picnics, weekend markets and the occasional chilly morning football game. Between us, we've spent years dressing little ones through Melbourne's famously unpredictable weather, and we know firsthand that it's not always simple. Layers come on and off, temperatures shift throughout the day, and comfort really matters.
That's when merino became a staple in our lives.
Merino wool is naturally breathable, temperature regulating and beautifully soft, making it ideal for babies and growing children. It keeps little bodies warm without overheating and feels gentle against sensitive skin.
As our family grew, so did our appreciation for good merino clothing. We found ourselves searching for the brands that consistently delivered the comfort, quality and practicality that worked best for family life.
That’s how Merino & Me came to be.
We focus on bringing together a thoughtfully selected collection of merino pieces from some of the best brands in the business. Our goal is simply to make it easier for Australian families to find beautiful merino clothing they can trust.
Today our collection includes merino essentials for newborns, babies, toddlers and kids — along with a small range for adults too, because once you experience the comfort of merino it’s something the whole family appreciates.

Our story
From very humble beginnings...
Merino & Me was born in August 2019 out of a simple frustration: finding high-quality merino clothing for babies in Australia was harder than it should have been. So we did something about it.
We started small, with a very limited range of newborn pieces from our favourite New Zealand brands, packed and shipped from a spare bedroom cupboard. We had no idea what we were doing. We just believed in the product.
Five years on, we're based in a warehouse and shopfront in Yarraville, Melbourne, stocking an expanded range for babies, children and families, and bringing some of our favourite NZ brands directly into Australia. The adventure has had its share of ups and downs, but our reason for being here has never changed: better fibres, beautifully made, for everyday family life.
