Our natural linen & wool play mat is thoughtfully crafted from 100% linen fabric, organic thread and filled with 100% wool wadding. 

The subtle colour of this natural play mat blends perfectly into any home aesthetic while providing a soft, cushioned surface perfect for your baby’s adventures.

Our activity play mats were designed to be insanely comfortable for your baby but also to be something that looked great in your home.

About the wool wadding

The wool is sourced from sheep farms in Victoria, Australia and New Zealand. The wool is cleaned with biodegradable detergent and then carded which makes it extra light and fluffy. 

Wool is a natural product that will naturally biodegradable in your garden once you no longer need your mat (instead of adding pressure to our landfills - yay!). It is also naturally fire retardant making it super safe for your baby. 

About the linen fabric

The linen fabric is 100% natural linen. Linen is a sustainable fibre as it is naturally grown and will break down overtime without causing any harm to the environment.

Please note that the natural linen & wool play mat is made to order and can take up to 4 weeks to produce.

These play mats are bulky items and you will be charged a shipping fee. Please find out more here.

Please be aware - we do not accept delivery of our activity play mats to PO boxes or Parcel Lockers. If you put this as your delivery address, you will be contacted to arrange an alternative location.

Care Instructions & Long Term Storage

For our natural linen and wool activity play mats, we recommend wiping any spills away with a wet cloth and some mild wool approved detergent and then allowing to dry.

If it does need a complete wash we recommend hand washing the base (a bath or paddling pool could be good here) with cold water and wool approved detergent (we love this one). Remove excess water by rolling in a towel and lie flat to dry. The poles can be spot cleaned.

When it is time to store your play mat for longer time - we recommend storing in an air tight bag and using natural moth protection such as these Cedar Wood Balls.
