The Woolbabe's Duvet sleeping bag is one of the warmest and snuggliest winter sleeping bags available!

It uses a quilted wool filling for additional warmth and temperature regulation, compared with most other winter bags on the market currently that are filled with a synthetic polyester or cotton wadding.

We are pleased to say Woolbabe has won some pretty exciting awards lately.

OHBaby! Awards 2020 - GOLD WINNER - Best Baby/Toddler Sleeping Bag - Woolbabe Sleeping Bag
OHBaby! Awards 2020 - GOLD WINNER - Most Recommended Product - Woolbabe Sleeping Bag
Australian Non-toxic Awards 2020 - GOLD WINNER - Best Baby Sleeping Bag
Australian Non-toxic Awards 2020 - Editor's Choice - Baby Sleeping Bag

It can be used from approximately 14 to 22 degrees by varying the clothing inside the bag.  Ideal from Autumn through till Spring, and on the cooler nights in Summer.

The outside layer of the sleep sack is gorgeous blend of 30% merino wool and 70% soft organic cotton. The bag is filled with a snug layer of 100% Australian wool filling, which gives amazing warmth and temperature regulating properties.  It has the feel of a duvet or thick blanket, and many babies seem to sleep much better in this heavier feeling of wool.  The weight of the filling also means less wriggling for a lot of children. The duvet Woolbabe is lined with a lovely 100% organic cotton lining, which is soft and smooth against your baby's skin.

The combination of wool and organic cotton offers the best of both worlds, providing a light cover for your child in warmer conditions. The wool component provides the qualities which react to changes in body temperatures, keeping baby at a constant body temperature, which improves the sleep of everyone in the household!

Woolbabe sleeping bags can be gentle machine washed with a liquid wool wash.  You can also low tumble dry your bag but please be aware some shrinkage may occur with tumble drying. We recommend our customers to have two sleep sacks, so a clean one is always on hand!

Better for you

Wool has one of the best warmth-to-weight ratios. This means it is lightweight yet packs a punch in terms of warmth.

It is also hypo-allergenic, breathable, odour resistant, easy washing and quick drying.

Better for the environment

Wool is nature's super fibre.

Wool is a totally renewable, sustainable and bio-degradable fibre.

It uses significantly less water to produce than cotton and it wont release any nasty micro-plastics into the water ways.

Perfect for regulating bub's temperature

I moved from the tropics to cold country with a newborn and could not keep bub warm enough when the nights dipped below zero, without regularly changing swaddles and adding extra blankets. Wool is such a great, natural fibre that regulates temperature well so I went searching for a wool sleeping bag and so glad I found the duvet sleep sack! Bub is sleeping much better and definitely warm enough, but even on some nights that start quite warm, he is still cool enough. Highly recommend and it lasts until they're around 2yo so a worthwhile, long term investment. It was a little big for him at 3 months, but he soon grew into it so I'd say if you have a baby on the smaller side, it won't suit at 3 months, but should fit well by 5-6 months.

Better sleep & better skin

My baby’s eczema has been exasperated by non natural fibres in other sleep suits. This suit is so gorgeous and has plenty of room to grow. She is more comfortable and sleeping beautifully in it. I love how I don’t have to stress much about her being able to regulate her temp and that she can wear less layers to bed and have her skin breathe. Absolutely fantastic customer service as well. Love love love 💕

Worth the investment

Finally confident that our little one is warm overnight. So great that it will still fit them in 18 months time too and we won't need to upgrade every winter!

Sleeping bag Duvet weight sleeveless.

We have only used this a few times but it has been great to keep our little one warm and toasty as the nights are getting colder. He has slept well with the weight of the bag. Only thing I hadn’t read was how long the bag is… I ordered a bigger size for my almost 2yo and it will definitely last a long time! I would recommend sticking to the smaller size if under 2yo or petite bubba. ☺️

Warm and Cosy

The duvet sleep sack with sleeves (and now cuffs!) keeps my little one cosy and comfy on even the chilliest nights. The addition of cuffs helps keep their hands covered well too.
I love that I can layer baby right up or have very light weight clothing on depending on the overnight temperature. It’s incredibly versatile.

Perfect gift for newborn

I purchased the Pebble Stripe Duvet Sleep Sack as a gift for a family member. They absolutely love it and have said that it is perfect in the cooler climate that they live in. I reached out to Merino & Me for their advice on which sleep sack would be the best fit in this instance and they could not have been more helpful. Great customer service and a quality product! Thank you :)
